About Wildlife Club of Tanzania

The Wildlife Club of Tanzania (WCT) is a non-profit conservation education organization. Our core mission is to empower youth and communities, stimulating their interest to proactively engage in wildlife and environmental conservation. We are committed to being one of Tanzania's most effective grass-root programs for young people.

We actively engage in conservation initiatives, programs, and activities aimed at preserving and protecting natural resources, wildlife, ecosystems, and biodiversity. School wildlife clubs serve as an engaging platform to connect students with nature, enabling them to explore the intricate relationship between humans and the environment.

National Competitions

Inspiring Creativity for Conservation

Wildlife Clubs of Tanzania organizes countrywide art, essay, and photography competitions for students in secondary schools and tertiary level institutions.

These competitions provide learners a unique opportunity to address specific conservation themes through their drawings, writings, and photography. It's a platform for them to express their inner aspirations and feelings on conservation.

An annual award ceremony is organized for the winners, often including a trip to a conservation area, typically a national park.
